It’s the Evernote Template Challenge! Win an Evernote Premium Account! 12

It’s the Evernote template challenge!  Now through the end of July, you can win an Evernote Premium Account for one year courtesy of DEG Consulting by submitting your best Evernote template!  You all get to vote on the submissions and the winner walks away with a free year of Evernote Premium!

The benefit to this contest is that we all win by pooling together everyone’s work product, thinking and expertise and we all become more productive and efficient as a result.  Plus, your votes determine the best one and the winner walks away with an Evernote Premium account for a year!

What are Evernote Templates?
Generally speaking, templates help us become more productive as it eliminates the need to create the same forms over and over again.  Templates in Evernote help us to become more productive too!  If you’ve purchased my Evernote eBookto help you become more productive, you know that I use Master Note Templates for notes I use over and over again.  I keep these notes in their own separate notebook and then just copy and paste to use it for a new task or project.

Here’s how the contest works:
Be sure to include in the title of the note your name and Twitter username or e-mail address and then the title of the template.  In the body, just before the template itself, please give a short description of what it is and how you use it.  For example, it’ll look like this:
Title: Daniel Gold @dangoldesq Master Travel Itinerary
Body: I use this every time I plan a vacation. It helps us stay organized and I share it with anyone else going on vacation with us!
How to submit your template:
In your note, click the curved arrow to the right of your note.  This will allow you to Post to Facebook, Twitter, Email it or Copy Share URL to Clipboard.

Please post it to Twitter in this format:
“I’m excited about my chance to win Evernote Premium from @dangoldesq in the #Evernotetemplatecontest! Enter today!”
You can also e-mailthe template to me if you like. Final submissions are due July 30.

How to view the submissions

All of the submissions will be posted in a publicly shared notebook I created called, “DEG Consulting Evernote Template Contest”.
How to vote!
Easy. I created a poll with Survey Monkey that you can access by clicking here.  I’ll have all of the templates up by July 30 for you to vote on.  All voting must be in by August 1 at 11:59 PM ET. The winner will be announced on August 2!! I encourage you all to send the link out to everyone on all of your social networks to vote on yours by sending people the link to the survey!
So get your Evernote templates ready to go or create one and send it along!  This is going to be great!

Great idea Daniel, when does the contest run until? I’ll have a submission, but look forward to others submissions as much as my free year of EN.

  • Thanks so much!! I can’t wait to learn from everyone else as well! The contest runs until July 30 and voting begins August 1. Let me know if you have any troubles sendin over the links. Thanks!!

  • Thanks do much, Dean! Send along some of your real estate templates!!

  • Great idea, Daniel! I’m looking forward to seeing all of the great submissions and getting some ideas on how I can personally make Evernote more effective in my business and personal life.

  • Thanks so much, Kevin! I’m very excited about the submissions!

This contest is sparking my creativity in ways I didn’t know was possible! 🙂

  • That is such fantastic news!! Thank you so much, Alexandre!!! Keep spreading the good word!!

  • It’s kind of annoying that the shared note is dated as having been created on 7/6/2022, making it show up at the top of my notes sorted on creation date. It means I’m going to have to remove the shared notebook.

I know the contest is over but thought Id toss my template here and you can share it if you like.

Its purpose is to display any content in evernote in a web page style/format. When the enter button is pressed in the “Body” section, another section is created automatically.

    • Hey Kyle – thanks so much for sharing! That’s a great template!!
