How to beat Overwhelmed and Get Set for Success 2

Do you ever feel like you have too much work to do and not enough time to do it? Are there times you feel overwhelmed, like it’s never going to get done? Overwhelm is a modern phenomenon and ironically it’s not caused from a physical increase in the amount of work we need to do, but by our inability to see and define things clearly. We lack vision, clarity and a lot of the time order.

No Vision

Without a clear picture of our long term goals how will we know each day if we are headed in the right direction? If the tasks that we are busy with are keeping us on the right track or making us head out in the jungle at every turn in the road. Setting long and short term goals will keep us on course and help us create our own personal happiness and success. It will also help us to be clear about our work commitments and our professional goals.

If there is a lack of clarity in our goals this can extend into our daily tasks, stress and anxiety result, a product of the monster we create in our own minds. Nothing is as big as our own imagination. The stress is largely self-created and our perception of the negatives dominant. We dream of completing that To Do list, but without a plan it’s useless!

Without having a system or a place to store your tasks and projects it is likely that you will become stressed or overwhelmed by the fuzziness of what needs to be done. An inevitable outcome is that you will spend longer doing things that could have been done more quickly or more efficiently. Disorganisation can cause chaos, stress, overwhelm and many other negative outcomes, too horrible to mention. Physical and mental clutter are big barriers to focus and getting things done.

These are the results of modern times, where we all struggle to stay one step ahead of the daily chaos of life. As a Productivity coach these are the symptoms of modern life that I see daily. We all need a way to stay organised, beat procrastination and get more done, we also need to be working towards our own goals and dreams with a positive attitude and a fierce focus that will help determine our happiness and success. These are the lessons I want to share with you in my online interactive course Get Set for Success.

Get Set for Success will show you how you can:

Achieve your goals

It contains videos, audios and worksheets to help you identify and focus on the things you want in your life. Clear the Clutter

Learn how to clear the clutter from your space and your mind. Some people find it difficult to set goals as they don’t know what they want to achieve in life. They become blocked and stagnant not knowing what to aim for next. A great way to overcome this is to clear out the clutter from your life. Clear out your office, your kitchen, living room and wherever else has too much stuff. When you have done this, download everything from your mind. Get it all out and allow your mind the space it deserves for coming up with new plans and ideas, for dreaming big or simply relaxing and enjoying life

Get Organized

Once the clutter is gone we need a system to manage our daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure chaos and disorder doesn’t repeat itself. In Get Set for Success we focus on using Evernote to create your own life management system, a way to capture everything and never forget a thing again. We also learn how to manage email and ensure that your inbox is no longer a scary place, there is such a thing as a stress free inbox!

To ensure all these great lessons have a lasting impact you will be introduced to The Habit Method, a way to install positive habits and make them part of your everyday life. It’s time to decide what is right for you and to go out and get it.

The course is designed as a seven week course where you will receive an email weekly linking you to the material for that week, if something comes up you can still complete the exercises the following week in your own time. This course has helped many people get their lives in order and move towards more happiness and success.

So if you need help managing the onslaught check out Get Set for Success, I hope you’ll be joining me there.
